DFTC has become recognized as a top level provider of training services to banks.  We specialize in the development and delivery of training programs that improve a bank's ability to evaluate and service the needs of its small to mid-sized business clients.

DFTC's integrated curriculum of financial management programs provides training for bankers at all levels, from beginners to lenders with decades of commercial lending experience.

There are generally two ways in which banks can make use of DFTC's training programs.  Through its partnerships with bank training associations and state banking associations, DFTC conducts one day and multiple-day training programs in various parts of the country throughout the year.  DFTC has developed partnerships of this nature with Center for Financial Training (CFT) Chapters in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Colorado, Kansas, Florida, Ohio, and Minnesota.  State banking associations with which DFTC has partnered include associations in Tennessee, Arkansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Michigan, North Dakota, West Virginia, Montana and Kentucky.

The other method available to access DFTC's training services is to request DFTC to customize a program that specifically addresses the needs of your particular bank.  For example, you might want to upgrade the commercial lending aptitude of your branch managers and increase the skills they require when they interact with potential business banking customers.  In this scenario, DFTC staff would consult with your senior personnel, customize a program that addresses the needs that you have identified and deliver a program at the site of your choosing.
