Credit Union Training
Since 2004, DFTC has developed and delivered high quality training that addresses a variety of Member Business Lending (MBL) issues. In collaboration with the Credit Union National Association, (CUNA), DFTC has developed two comprehensive Business Lending Schools which have been recognized as the best in the credit union industry. These two week-long programs include training in various aspects of member business lending and are part of CUNA's comprehensive MBL curriculum and certification program for its member credit unions. As a result of the partnership created between DFTC and CUNA, hundreds of credit union business lenders throughout the nation have been able to enhance their lending skills to benefit their credit unions and members.
In addition to its relationship with CUNA, DFTC also contracts with credit union leagues and individual credit unions that require training services. Recent engagements have occurred with Credit Union Leagues in the states of Hawaii, South and North Carolina, Alabama, South and North Dakota, Texas and Maryland, as well as Credit Union Service Organizations (CUSO's) in New Hampshire and Minnesota and individual credit unions in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire.
DFTC has become recognized not only for the quality of its training programs, but also for its flexibility in customizing programs to the needs of specific clients. This flexibility allows clients to receive better and more cost effective training to meet their specific needs.
Training Programs All of the programs listed below are one-day programs except for those specifically noted otherwise. DFTC is also willing to consider combining any of its one-day programs to offer a two-day or longer program. Not included in these series of programs are DFTC's two week-long lending schools that have been developed in cooperation with CUNA.
